Schools, youth groups, sports teams, childcare centers, faith organizations and camps. Anyone can submit an institution, including a parent. Bully Proof Inc contacts the organization directly, so no introduction from you is needed.

What are the four types of bullying?

Physical, verbal, relational and cyber. Physical is the one most people picture, but the other three are quieter, which is why they often run for months before an adult notices. Relational bullying means deliberate exclusion and rumour, and cyber bullying follows a child home.

Is Bully Proof Inc the same organization as Bully.org?

No. They are two separate organizations. Bully Proof Inc is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers the free programs. Bully.org is a separate for-profit company that trains and certifies instructors. Bully.org is not a nonprofit and should not be described as one.

Program delivery

How a session is arranged

Sessions are delivered to schools, youth groups, sports teams, childcare centers, faith organizations and camps. There is no cost to the host institution or to families.

Name, location and the approximate age range of the group. No introduction from you is required.

2Bully Proof Inc makes contact

The organization is approached directly and a certified trainer is identified in the area.

3The session is delivered

The trainer provides the program and all materials. The host selects the date.

Sessions pair physical drills with rehearsed verbal responses. Both are practiced in advance rather than improvised during an incident.

Funding

Bully Proof Inc is funded by contributions. These cover program materials, printing and the cost of maintaining the public resource library. The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) and contributions are tax deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law.
